Tutors Leicester University ISC

Tutors are required for the following subject areas :- Pure Maths, Applied Maths, Economics, Business Studies and Sciences (Biology, Chemistry and Physics) from September 2008 and January 2009.

The International Study Centre, based at Prospect House, Regent Road, Leicester, prepares international students for entry onto the first year of their Undergraduate courses at University of Leicester. The Leicester ISC will be taking its first Foundation students in September 2008. These students will be progressing towards Undergraduate study in 2009.

Applicants should be qualified teachers and preferably graduates in the relevant subject area and have experience in teaching students on ‘A’ Level or Access courses. It would be desirable if they have experience of working with international students.

Timetable allowing, the modules offered may be taught individually (part-time, from 5 to 20 hrs/pw), or in combination of up to a maximum of 25 hrs/pw. However, there is some flexibility in timetables.

Interviews will take place on Friday 19th September 2008.
