Deputy Regional Director, China

Study Group is looking for a Deputy Regional Director based at our Head Office in Shanghai. The successful candidate will be an outstanding sales and marketing professional with the ambition and drive to meet the multiple challenges of a senior regional role.

Prospective applicants are expected to be experienced, responsible and self-motivated with very strong organisational skills. A relevant University degree, excellent communication skills and fluency in both written and spoken Chinese and English are a must. Applicants with experience in international education would be preferred.

The role involves supporting the frontline sales efforts of cross cultural teams in the PRC market, overall co-ordination of major national events, and high-level negotiations with University partners. In addition, a major part of the role will involve overseeing our national office network and legal entities in China, human resources and regulatory compliance.

The main duties of this position are:

• Sales support
• Event Management
• Marketing logistics
• Leadership and support to Regional Managers and Brand Managers
• Financial and budgetary responsibility

Key Selection Criteria:

Essential

• A high level of skill in spoken and written English and Chinese (Mandarin)
• Excellent organisational skills and experience in sales and marketing management
• Demonstrated experience of sales and marketing in an international education environment
• Demonstrated track record of setting and achieving sales targets within financial parameters
• Education to a minimum of a bachelor's degree
• International outlook

Desirable

• Experience of working in a multi-cultural environment
• Experience in a multi-channel sales environment
